About me
As you already know, my name is Al ("A" + "L"), not to be confused with Artificial Intelligence (AI). My birth given name is Alejandro, but as a good 21st century man, I decided to choose my own name. (Almirant Mc. Awesome was already taken)
I come from Cochabamba, Bolivia (A beautiful country in the heart of the Andes). Throughout my life I had the privilege of living in 10 different cities (4 different countries, 3 different continents). My favorite place of them all? Well, anywhere where I'm with my soon to be wife Therese.
I'm an economist who aspires to stop using the phrase "it depends", pretty hard for economists if you ask me. That's why I decided to study finance to spice things up a little bit. Did it work? Depends on what you ask.
Currently I'm working as a freelance Data Scientist. What can I say, I have the skill set. Am I passionate about it? Of course, nothing more exciting than cracking some spreadsheets.
For the future I only want one thing: a house full of children and a grumpy cat. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with the people I love.
